South America is growing on the urbanfields map, with the neighbouring countries of Uruguay and Argentina now represented alongside Chile and Ecuador.

With Montevideo and Buenos Aires, Franz Ermel adds some beautiful fields with two of South America's greatest cities, pictured from a rather unusual and sometimes poetic perspective.

Blue cloud over Brixton

Mike Slocombe, the editor of the fabulous urban 75 website took some beautiful pictures of a fascinating phenomenon in the sky above London last night.

"I saw this crazy blue glowing cloud over Brixton around 2.20 am this morning. It looked like the Aurora Borealis had gone walkabout from the north pole..."
