Urbanfields.net gets a facelift

With only the second redesign in four years, the website of the CUE Institute gets a major overhaul of its structure: goodbye frames, welcome clarity.
The home of the Institute of Contemporary Urban Encounters, has just been fully redesigned. The entire site is now without frames, so the main sections can be linked or accessed directly by entering the appropriate URL, with the requested section typed after urbanfields.net slash, followed by the name of the section; like for example: urbanfields.net/sitemap or urbanfields.net/echoclub
The overall design remains pretty much the same, but the structure is now much more accessible.
The «About CUE» section has been completely redesigned, hopefully making its easier for visitors to get an idea of what CUE is about.
A few new or previously missing projects have been added, like loslogos.org (urbanfields.net/about/loslogos.html), the slides archive (urbanfields.net/about/slides.html), shows & exhibitions (urbanfields.net/about/exhibition.html) etc.
The «Showroom» section is new. It is what used to be the «Exhibition» and «City Dubs» sections. «City Dubs» (the movie and sound section) is now a sub-site to «Showroom».
«Showroom» is where submitted media and art works are placed that don't fit in the «fields» section; see for example «Int. / Ext. Hotel California» by Veronika Klancnik.
«Showroom» is also where we present our own short movies and slideshows.
Fieldreport, the CUE news and media site is now treated as what it always was: an external website, thus opening in a new window. Fieldreport can now be subscribed to using RSS (Real Simple Syndication, - news feeds for mobile devices or computers using RSS reader software such as NetNewsWire or Web-Browsers with RSS compatibility such as Firefox).
